The MoneyMo card rate applies to notes of the latest colorized series (post-2006, colored background; the $100 also carries a blue security ribbon), in all denominations — $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. $1 and $2 notes are not eligible: they are bought back at our public counter rate. The 1996-2003 "blue heads / large heads" (large portrait, plain background) are bought back at that same public counter rate. Pre-1996 "small heads" are still accepted, but they are subject to a discount — see our dedicated old-banknotes page. They are subject to a discount and are not eligible for the MoneyMo card rate, which applies to the latest colorized series (post-2006). Yes, significantly. Airport exchange offices apply margins of 6-15%. Central Paris offices like We Change Beaubourg apply approximately 0.5-2% on USD/EUR. On a 1,000 USD exchange, the saving is typically 60-130 EUR.
